Graduated PhD student (PhD in Business Administration). Former Assistant Professor at the Universidad de la Costa, Barranquilla, Colombia. Now postdoctoral researcher at Lund University.
She analyzed the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem (EE) of Barranquilla, trying to understand a) how the role of a specific anchor tenant - the Chamber of Commerce - shaped its evolution and b) in which ways the regional culture influences the interactions within and the evoluation of the EE. Her PhD was financed by a government grant (Colciencias).
She was supervised by Prof. Ben Spigel at the University of Edingborough during her research stay abroad.

This industrial engineer is relating complexity theory with entrepreneurial ecosystems. He is currently writing his second paper of his PhD thesis where he uses an Agent-based Model to evaluate the influence of venture capital accessability for growth intentions within an EE.
He is currently doing a research internship at UAM, México.

This economists is evaluating the relationship that exists between poverty and informality with a special focus on the tourism industry. She is currently finishing her first article which is a literature review on this topic.

Maria Fernanda, currently a lecturer at Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo, is interested in indigenous entrepreneurship. She is currently writing her PhD Proposal trying to link indigenous entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial orientation.

She is evaluating how the participation of the Wayuu - an indigeneous tribe located in the Colombian Carribean - in the development of touristic offers may foster the competitiveness of the tourism industry in Riohacha, La Guajira.
Graduated Master student (Master in Economics, Universidad del Norte). Working as Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter, pursuing his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Diemo Urbig at the Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus.
This economist evaluated - based on a large scale survey and economic experiments - risk measurments. His Master thesis was co-supervised by Prof. Diemo Urbig and myself and received the distinction "cum laude". He is now pursuing his PhD in Experimental Economics under the supervision of Prof. Diemo Urbig.
During his second year of his Master, he led the "Semillero de investigación en Economía Experimental" at the Universidad del Norte.
