Two of my passion projects are outlined below. Before you explore them, I’d like to provide some context for these initiatives.
Peeka-a-bou Nursery is born from my deep love for maternal health, babies, and women. My goal is to create a solution that supports prenatal families where they are. Though still in its early stages, the foundation is set, and I’m excited to continue developing it in the future.
PreMD is a clothing brand designed to challenge the negative stereotypes faced by premed students. As a premedical student myself, it feels I've been targeted by the "You can't become a doctor" rhetoric. A rhetoric that combined by a lack of resources effectively detours people from pursuing a career of their dreams. By transforming common phrases into empowering messages, PreMD helps premeds embrace their individual journey with confidence and pride.
Both of these are work-in-progress projects, I’m proud to have started and will continue developing until they are fully realized.
What if the community could make parenthood easier? What if we could fund it in a way that costs nothing to the parent?
At Peeka-a-bou Nursery, our mission is to empower working families facing socio-economic challenges by providing the tools and resources needed to support a growing baby and expanding family. We do this by offering free childcare, postpartum education, and connecting expecting parents to valuable community resources. Our goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where both caregivers and babies can thrive, supporting continuity of care as you transition into this beautiful next chapter of your life.
We believe that YOU are your family's best accessory, and families thrive when parents have the support they need. Our free nursery services allow parents to work, study, or simply recharge, with the peace of mind that their happy baby is in a secure, loving environment.
What if we could redefine what it means to be a premed through a positive, supportive lens?
PreMD, a clothing brand, is dedicated to empowering premeds by shifting the narrative around their journey. Instead of focusing on the struggles and stereotypes, we highlight the strength, determination, and potential that every premed embodies. Through positive imagery on items such as stickers, badge reels, sweaters, and scrubs, PreMD offers premeds the tools to embrace their journey with pride, resilience, and confidence.
