About Me:
As a first-generation college graduate from Arizona State University, I've spent my undergraduate years studying biology, contributing to research, and serving the community as a nursing assistant all while navigating a global pandemic and the highs and lows of adulting.
In this journey, I discovered my passion for patient centered care and serving communities in need. As I followed that passion, I earned my first publication, studied population health in the Dominican Republic, and discovered my desire to become a physician.
Becoming a physician consolidates my favorite parts of being a nursing assistant, research, intervention based medicine and purposefully utilizing my STEM background to it's fullest potential.
Outside of healthcare, I work support research projects covering a variety of subjects including Oncology, Black population health, and Department of Defense projects. I have many hobbies such as latin dancing, cycling, and riding my motorcycle ( every trauma surgeon just cringed). My favorite passion projects are being a premed content creator through these platforms I've reviewed AMCAS applications which helped my premed peers secure interviews by leveraging my connections in medicine to support students nationwide.
This site serves as a an opportunity to share the opportunities I've pursued and display a record of where I've been and a insight of where I'd like to end up as I continue toward a career in medicine.
