Admission to AYUSH programs requires an entrance exam, which will be administered differently for UG and PG programs. To pursue an AYUSH course in India, one should go through admission exams such as NEET (for UG Courses) and AIAPGET (for PG Courses).

● Candidates must have passed 12th-grade scientific exams from CBSE or any recognized board, with some requirements such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English.
● Candidates in the general category must have a minimum aggregation of 50%, while candidates in other categories such as SC/ST/OBC and PWD can have a 40% score in SC/ST/OBC.
● Candidates in the Pwd and general categories must have a 45 percent aggregate.
● When the requirements are met, the individual can apply for the NEET examination, and if successful, the candidate can pursue various AYUSH courses from the best institutions.
● A candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in a related field - BUMS, BHMS, BAMS, BNYS, BSMS, or a graded BHMS.
● Additionally, candidates must have completed a one-year internship to apply for the entrance exam.
