Audition Clinic: April 20-April 24 4-6pm
Final Audition Date: April 27th, 4-Finished
Tryout Requirements:
● Completed Application/Agreement
● 2 teacher evaluation forms - (must be from a core class)
● Attendance required for all clinic days and tryouts
● Attire for tryout day:
o White t-shirt and athletic shorts; no jeans or leggings
o hair must be pulled up and out of the face
o shoes or jazz shoes must be worn at all times
o No gum, no jewelry
● Individuals will be evaluated on grades, teacher evaluations, discipline, technical skills, and performance of a choreographed routine.
Please turn in all items (except for teacher recommendations) to Ms. Katie Hazelton on or before April 2,0 2026. Teacher recommendations should be sent by the teacher completing the online form.

The Following movement skills will be judged at tryouts:
Basic Marching Technique
Plie

3 Point Turn
Rond de jambe
Special notes:
1. The color guard will be made up of members in grades 9-12.
2. Judges will evaluate each prospective member and choose the team. ALL decisions are final.
3. The number of spaces on the team each year is not set. Prospective members will be placed on the team based on their skill level. It is also important to remember that when performing, a team must perform as one. Consideration is given to how a prospective member looks when performing with a group.

o hair must be pulled up slick and out of the face
o jazz shoes must be worn at all times

● Individuals will be evaluated on grades, teacher evaluations, discipline, technical skills, and performance of a choreographed dance routine.
