MEDA 3570 Educational Technology Work Showcase

Hello! My name is Jalyn Minton. Im from Duffield, Virginia. My town is very small, everyone knows everyone. I grew up in what most would call a “ holler.” I’m very country, through and through. I get told that I have a thick accent at times. I would like to describe myself as very caring and smart women. I love to help people with their problems, which is why im minoring is psychology. My best friend is my dog, Ben. I added a picture of him on the side. I’ve had him since he was born, and he’s been by my side since.

I chose to become a teacher because I absolutely love children. When you’re with students and you teach them something, when you see their face when they finally understand something, it’s a wonderful moment. However, I have been considering going fully into psychology and becoming a psychologist while I teach. I believe it would be a wonderful opportunity for me to become a school psychologist.
