The Jaleija Designs Story

Jaleija Designs is more than a craft business, it’s a story of healing, creativity, and family.

The name Jaleija comes from the middle names of my three children. I wanted to build something that honored them, something rooted in love, legacy, and purpose. But the deeper story began with my own journey.

As someone living with diabetes, I faced the emotional and physical challenges that come with managing a chronic condition. Stress, overwhelm, and exhaustion became part of my daily life — until I rediscovered creativity. Crafting gave me a place to breathe. A place to feel calm. A place to reconnect with myself.

What started as a personal coping tool became a lifeline.

And eventually, it became a calling.

I created Jaleija Designs to share the healing power of creativity with others: kids who need a safe space to express themselves, adults who need a moment of peace, families who want to reconnect, and community groups seeking meaningful experiences.

Today, Jaleija Designs is a mobile creative wellness business that brings hands‑on art experiences directly to you. We serve youth groups, adult day programs, families, schools, churches, and organizations across the community.
