Jaleija Designs was born from a deeply personal journey. As a mother of three, I wanted to build something that honored my children. So, I combined their middle names to create Jaleija, a name that carries their spirit, creativity, and love.

But the true beginning of Jaleija Designs started with my own healing.

Living with diabetes, I struggled with the emotional and physical challenges that come with managing a chronic condition. Crafting became my refuge, a place where my mind could rest, my stress could soften, and my joy could return. Every project helped me feel more grounded, more hopeful, and more connected to myself.

What began as a personal coping tool grew into a passion. And that passion grew into a purpose.

Today, I teach craft classes for kids, adults, families, and community groups, not just to create beautiful things, but to support mental wellness, confidence, and connection. Jaleija Designs is my way of sharing the healing power of creativity with others, one project at a time.
