The beginning pre-production, started with my team selecting a key topic, which was then to be used to create a game with one of the core pillars being about that topic, the topic selected by my team was stealth. Afterwards we began brainstorm way the game would play out, and what the levels would look like.
A lot of the time during the production, was spent creating the AI to follow a set path, chase after the player, and return to their previous position if the lost track of the player after a while. Along with this, the level designs which were mainly done by Jack Kledion, which allowed for interesting way the guards move. The image to the left is a screenshot overview of one of the level from the alpha stage,.
The final product ended up being about the player moving around the levels, collecting some gold and making it to the exit while avoiding the guards patrolling around the place.
