ヘリウム液化装置室では、研究室から回収ラインを通じて送られてくる蒸発ガスを一旦ガス・バックに溜め、それが満タンになると自動的に回収コンプレッサーを起動してガス・マニホールドに圧縮・貯蔵するシステムをとっている。よって、停電時にはこの回収コンプレッサーが起動しないため、ガス・バックが満タンになった後、回収ガスはその安全器より垂れ流しの状態となってしまう。
したがって、予告停電に際しては、ヘリウムの汲み出しを行なわないこと。また、突然の停電に際しても、可能な範囲で汲み出しを中断すること。

In the helium liquefier room, the evaporated gas sent from the laboratory through the recovery line is stored in a gas bag, and when the bag is full, the recovery compressor is automatically started to compress and store the gas in the gas manifold. When the gas bag is full, the recovery compressor is automatically activated to compress and store the gas in the gas manifold. Since the recovery compressor is not activated during a power outage, the recovered gas drips from the safety device after the gas bag is full.
Therefore, helium should not be pumped out in the event of a power failure. In the event of a sudden power failure, pumping should be suspended to the extent possible.
