I am an Associate Professor at the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar. My research work is in the area of quantum computation and information.  My recent work has been on quantum walks which are quantum analogues of classical random walks. I am interested in both the theoretical aspects and practical implementations of quantum walks on quantum computers. I also have an interest in Computational Finance, particularly option pricing theory. I teach undergraduate core courses on Groups and Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Algebraic structures  and elective courses in Quantum Computation and Computational Finance.
