In 2024, the JAIBS will hold its 75th conference at Komazawa University. Members are encouraged to present their research.
Details regarding application (for individual presentations, panel presentations, and attendance), deadlines, attendance fee payment method, and other information will be posted on the association's website (https://www.jaibs.jp/) and on the host university's website (https://sites.google.com/view/jaibs75komazawa/) in late January 2024. The subsequent circulars will “not” be sent via email, and you are kindly requested to visit these websites to reach the latest information.

Application ： An online application form will be available on the association’s website (https://www.jaibs.jp/).
Special Session： This conference’s themes are (1) “Aspects of the Overseas Development of Buddhist Schools” and (2) “The Formation and Development of Meditation Thought.” Therefore, special sessions will be held on these topics. If you would like to present as part of these special sessions, please indicate this on the online application form.
