The canvas community paintings creates an opportunity to include community members in collectively creating art that is reflective of their sexual, gender, cultural and race identities. 

Jahi collaborated with The Center: Every Student. Every Story. at the University of Nevada, Reno, in creating a community painting where students can honor and grief the death of Nipsey Hussle. Jahi believes that community paintings can offer a collective healing space to honor those who have contributed to culture and racial identity.
