Here's the left hand fuel pump as removed from the car. One of the mounting rubbers has broken and the pump doesn't work. Draining the fuel when I removed the fuel tank was an interesting experience so I guess that the tank had been filled just before the pump stopped working.
Having done some research, it is common for the points to corrode on these but fortunately the power of the internet reveals some very useful information sources:
After my research and having cleaned the points up, adjusted the point clearances and reassembly, I have two operational fuel pumps again.

The toolbox is missing a few tools so I hope to get it re-populated before completing the project.
