Statistical and Intelligent Learning (SIL) Lab

Welcome to SIL-LAB!

We are interested in understanding fundamental phenomenon based on theoretical model and analysis, where our research lies at the intersection of applied mathematics (including statistics) and learning intelligence over large scale network, social network, and probabilistic graphical models. Here are our research topics and keywords:

• Graph Mining and Optimization - Information source detection and diffusion classification, Seeding game and Submodular optimization

• Big-data Analytics (Data Science) - Anomaly detection over networks, MapReduce or Spark Job Scheduling

• Learning in Networks - Graph connectivity learning, Deep reinforcement learning for autonomous platooning

• Wireless Networks - Resource allocation and optimization in VANETs, Vehicle to Grid Infrastructure (VGI) communication for Electric Vehicle (EV)
