We are interested in the experimental realization of atomically thin materials for quantum information sciences. We synthesize and characterize two-dimensional materials with controlled quantum properties; such as quantum emission and spins.

We investigate quantum materials with optical spectroscopic techniques; such as photoluminescence, Raman scattering, and nonlinear optical effects. We are interested in developing a new optical system for quantum materials research.
