A Dating Game Parody
After a nice few rounds of bowling, you and your date, Leroy Sanspickle, head to a restaurant for a bite to eat. He is very vocal about his hatred for pickles, which is bad for the player, who intends on ordering a dish with pickles. In this choose your adventure game, will you ultimately end up with Leroy in the end? Or will you fall in love with someone else? Perhaps the waiter? Or maybe an oracle in the bathroom?

This project was made in order to learn how to use Ren'Py. It was a solo project in which I used Python to code a story with a few unique endings dependent on the player's choices. In addition, I drew simplistic stick figures as the characters in order to drive forward the comedic tone.
Leroy Sanspickle is the main person the player is trying to date. He is very vocal about his hatred of pickles, which sets up the main conflict.
The waiter is a seemingly unimportant figure who makes it known that he is on your side if anything happens with Leroy. In some paths of the game, he could end up against you if you decide to side with Leroy and his pickle hating ways
Tabatha is a somewhat hidden character who is meant to warn you about Leroy's behavior. She is found only if the player retreats to the bathroom. The player can choose an alternate ending where they run off with Tabatha instead.
