Festa de Sant Maurici

This is the Sant Maurici little church. It's on the top of a hill near Caldes.

The Sant Maurici feast is on 22 of september.

Sant Maurici was the patron of Caldes de Malavella.

This day the Riera's heirs walk to Sant Maurici hermitage and then dance the Hereu Riera's dance, It's a tipical Caldes dance.

At midday there is a mass in honor to Sant Maurici.

When the mass finishes we dance Sardanes.

When the Sardanes finishes, there is a Arrossada Popular.

In the afternoon, Sardanes start again.

It's a nice celebration!!
