Career Goals:

I'm a college freshman at the University of North Texas, class of 2029. I am a Pre-Business major, soon to be a Finance major, with a potential minor in either Real Estate or Urban Planning. I've known since high school that I wanted a career in Real Estate Development, but I have also known that I want a job where I can find passion, purpose, and fulfillment. I learned about urban planning a few years ago, but only recently have I decided to pursue it in education and as a career. My dream is to join a team that promotes sustainable development, focusing on the responsible use of natural resources, rather than their depletion, and the use of more environmentally friendly building materials. I would also love to focus on increasing walkability levels, reducing carbon emissions, and boosting local economies, especially here in Texas. Within the next two years, I'd like to find an internship with a company that gives me more hands-on experience, and grow my connections in those fields.
