The Tobacco-Cannabis (TOCAN) Study was a study on adolescent and young adult brain development. Participants were enrolled between January 2019 and August 2022.
Eligible subjects:
Were between 16-22 years old
Had or had not used marijuana and/or tobacco products
Had NO irremovable metal in/on their body (braces, nerve stimulators, metal implants)
Participants completed:
Questionnaires, including measures of mood, personality, and your experiences with substances including alcohol, marijuana, & nicotine/tobacco products
Cognitive (i.e., memory & attention) tasks on an iPad
1-hour MRI scan of their brain
