This award recognizes an individual for a significant contribution to the success of an organization’s mission. The nominee must have demonstrated exemplary performance, superior quality, and a commitment to excellence, engaged in research, development, or production, who, in the course of their work has made an outstanding technological contribution in a scientific or technical field or who has significantly enhanced understanding in a specific discipline.
The CAS Future Leaders program supports the growth of science leadership among early-career scientists around the world. Since 2010, this international program has awarded Ph.D. students and postdoctoral scholars with opportunities to learn leadership skills, engage in scientific discourse, and connect with peer scientists and innovators from around the world. #CASFutureLeaders (Digital Credential)
Competitively selected from among 70 postdocs at 27 research locations in the southeast area (USDA-ARS). This program recognizes outstanding achievements which have contributed significantly to the mission of Agricultural Research Service and have brought positive recognition to the Southeast Area.
