Starting 2024, I've developed and run a public philosophy booth at the annual Tucson Festival of Books. I create activities and games, including a modified Ask a Philosopher booth, and coordinate a team of volunteers to bring philosophy to festivalgoers of all ages.
I have five years of experience leading K-12 philosophy classes in a wide range of settings and grade levels, mostly through the University of Chicago's Winning Words program. I have been involved in the Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl or the National High School Ethics Bowl—as judge, coach, organizer, or moderator—every year since 2018. In the 2024-2025 season, the University of Arizona Ethics Bowl team I coached made it to the national quarterfinals!
In the 2020-2021 school year, I served with AmeriCorps's City Year program in a 9th grade math class in Providence, RI.
