I grew up in the Washington, DC area, mostly in Bethesda, MD. I received a BA from the University of Chicago in 2020 with majors in philosophy and linguistics.
I like folk music(s), including old-time and singer/songwriter styles. I play guitar and clawhammer banjo, sometimes at Tucson Kitchen Musicians Association events. I especially enjoy tracing histories of traditional songs and the various ways newer artists have engaged with them.
I am also a Judge of the University of Chicago Scavenger Hunt, where I create one-of-a-kind challenges, games, and puzzlehunts as part of the world's largest annual scavenger hunt (which is free and open to the public!).
I enjoy literature, word games, bike rides, Capitals hockey, and local culture wherever I am.
