At Jack’s Small Engine Service, we take pride in offering clear, no-nonsense pricing. Here’s a breakdown of our most requested services:

🚐 Service Fee (Travel & Technician Visit)
This fee covers sending a technician to take a look at your equipment and assess what’s needed.
Drive time is calculated using Apple Maps (one way):

• $50 – Within 15 minutes
  
  

• $100 – 16–20 minutes
  
  

• $150 – 21–30 minutes
  
  

If your location exceeds 30 minutes one way, please call or text for a custom quote.

Additional Diagnostic Visits
If further visits are required for additional diagnostics, the same service fee applies.

Extended Diagnostic Labor
If the diagnosis takes more than a basic assessment, additional labor time will be billed at the standard labor rate of $100/hour.

Return Trip Fee
If a return trip is needed to complete service or pick up equipment, the fee is the same as the original house call fee.

🔧 Non-Repairable or Declined Repairs Policy
If your machine is:

• Not repairable: It will not be reassembled. Customers must pick up or properly dispose of the equipment in its current disassembled condition.
  
  

• Repair declined: Reassembly is available at our standard labor rate of $100/hour, with a minimum charge of $125.

• Equipment not picked up within 48 hours of completion or customer request for return will be billed $30 per day per piece of equipment. Customers will be billed on days that we are closed (if you had your equipment ready on Friday and you did not pick up., you will be billed for Saturday and Sunday).
