I challenged my nephew Peter to try to make dinosaur skulls out of Legos. Then I decided to try it myself.
The key was to find a good web page with pictures of the target skull with different directions. After taking a screenshot, I opened the image in GIMP and overlayed a grid. This way I could keep the scale constant.

I built this one with rainbow colors, but the result was hard for my nephew to identify from photos. So I decided to try to stick to one color for future skulls. That's easy in Bricksmith, but harder in the real world.

The sketchfab model on the web is amazing. I tried to reproduce all of the complicated struts and sinuses within the skull. Note that the teeth are collapsed - at this scale I could place just one tooth where a real T-rex would have two!
