The Golden Jackal Project has been conducting research and coordinating information on golden jackals since 2015.
The internationally active project, in collaboration with volunteers and students, is led by Jennifer Hatlauf – who also initiated the first World Jackal Day in 2023, now held every year on 19. April.
This day brings together the scientific community and the wider public to share the latest research and raise awareness of jackals and related species worldwide.
