Continuing, another goal I have achieved was meeting new people through the form of clubs and organizations. I am a current member of the Sales Club in the School of Business and was a previous member of the Occupational Therapy Club. Recently, through practicing and honing my professional selling skills, I achieved 2nd Place in the KU Sales Club & Krunkle Associates Sales Competition! If interested in the sales pitch I gave, click here! Continuing, by joining these student-led organizations, I have had the opportunity to meet new people, strengthen my leadership and interpersonal skills, and ultimately, further my education.
At the University of Kansas, I have achieved many goals that I set for myself when enrolling. To begin, I wanted to find a major that I enjoyed and fit my educational skill level. After filtering through lists of majors, minors, and certificates, I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in occupational therapy. I quickly realized that was not my calling and I began taking business courses my sophomore year. When taking the School of Business' pre-requisite courses, I found that I thoroughly enjoyed the field and began searching for which department inspired me the most. It didn't take long for me to learn that marketing was my passion.

Lastly, following one of my passions of giving back to the community in the form of community service, I decided that I wanted to achieve the role of Community Service Chairman within the Delta Chi Fraternity. During my sophomore year, I held the position of Community Service Chairman. In this position, I spent my time creating and organizing events with JustFoods and the Boys and Girls Club. Further, I managed the member's hours and effectively communicated from inside the fraternity with the university. Ultimately, these moments were some of my favorite college memories.
