Snow Throughfall
Snowthroughfall occurs when snow precipitation penetrates through the canopy of trees and accumulates on the ground. Snowthroughfall can be seen in the picture to the left. The snow that has fallen through the branches of the juniper tree and accumulated.
Condensation
Condensation on the tail light of my car. I am guessing that the tail light of my car has some moisture in it and when heated up by the sun created a humid condition. The humidity then collected on the cold surface of the tail light.
Base Level Flow
Base level flow is the minimum flow that a river retains year round. The photo below on the left shows base level flow of the logan river and was taken right above First Dam. The photo on the right shows a hydrograph of the Logan River from a USGS gauge station near where the photo on the left was taken. The blue dotted line on the hydrograph shows the date that the photo on the right was taken.
Snow Accumulation
Snow accumulation above on a north facing slope up Logan Canyon.
