J-WEN is a networking platform open to all women interested in economics.

J-WENは定期的なセミナーや情報交換の場を企画する、非営利団体です。

経済学研究者のみならず、官民でエコノミストとして経済学を使って働くキャリア女性、経済学を学んでいる女性のニーズにも応えます。

経済学部進学を考えている生徒さんたちにも参考になる情報を掲載します。

J-WEN is a nonprofit organization.

We offer seminars, gatherings, and a bulletin board to exchange information about economics and related opportunities (such as research and careers) among women.

Any woman interested in economics, considering a career in economics, or simply curious is welcome!

  • 5/22（金）（日本経済学会の前日）に大阪にて「女性活躍応援夕食会」を予定しております！予備登録を開始いたしました！これは参加人数を把握するもので、会場選びに重要となりますので、参加希望の方々は4/30 (木)までにぜひご登録 下 さい！

May 22 (Fri.) (The day before the JEA spring meeting) We plan to organize a "women empowerment dinner" in Osaka!  To give us an idea of the number of participants, please pre-register in this form! 

• • 5/23-24に行われる日本経済学会春季大会（大阪公立大）にて「学術分野での女性活躍のために求められることは何か？」という企画セッションを開催します！We will hold a session, "What is needed for women's empowerment in academia?" at the JEA Spring meeting!

  • 7/1（水）19:00より「女性エコノミストのキャリアについて先輩に聞く会（仮称）」を開催いたします！会場（慶応大学三田キャンパス）またはオンラインで参加可能です。登壇予定者は翁百合さん（日本総研）、林伴子さん（元内閣府）です。参加登録は５月末ごろ開始予定です。

July 1 (Wed.) 19:00-  We will hold a hybrid talk session "Hear from senior female economists about women's careers".  The venue is Mita Campus, Keio University, and online.  Speakers are Ms. Yuri Okina (Japan Research Institute) and Ms. Tomoko Hayashi (Cabinet Office).  Registration will start around the end of May.

• J-WENの青木会長が日本学士院会員に選定されました！おめでとうございます！J-WENではこれを記念して日本経済学会の大会においてシンポジウムを計画しております。Congratulations to our president, Reiko Aoki, who has been appointed as a member of the Japan Academy!  We are planning to organize a symposium in honor of her! (2026/1/9)
