Hello!
My name is Ms. J. Dunbar, and I will be your child's third grade math and science teacher. I'm thrilled to be joining the Major team and developing All-stars.
A bit about me and my background. In 2022, I graduated magna cum laude earning my bachelor's degree in business management from Barry University. This is my second year in education. I began as a sixth grade middle school math interventionist. I enjoy teaching and being the change I wish to see in the world ~ Gandhi.

Introduction & Course Objectives
Students will work independently and collaboratively on practices that guide students to develop the full range of information and communication abilities. Define their own reading interests and preferences to foster a deeper connection to their imaginations and emotional impulses while encouraging artistic expression and exploration. Theory and practical course designed to familiarize students to literacy appreciation and skills, genres, research and reference, technology, public speaking, creative writing, professional communication, and critiquing.
GRADE BREAKDOWN/LATE/MAKE-UP WORK/TESTING
Test and Performances worth 60% Mantra, Do-Now, Critique 40%
If a student has an excused absence, he or she may make-up the work upon their return to school. The purpose and intent of the makeup policy is to give each student another opportunity master the content. Students must make up the work within 3 school days of when the original date the work was given during school.
