For my senior capstone, I’m bringing together my two majors, biology and music, to study how music can affect people with Alzheimer’s. I’m especially interested in how it might help with memory and emotional connection. As part of the project, I hope to be doing an outreach component at Pennybyrn, where I’ll perform for patients with Alzheimer's. My goal is to not only learn more about the science behind music and memory, but also to create meaningful moments for the people I connect with.
