LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATIONS : 2023-24

A: Library Timing:-

• Reading hall room no.3: During regular college days :except vacation-

1. Monday to Friday: 8.45 am to 5.30 pm

2. Saturday: 10.00 am to 5.30 pm

3. During Vacation: 10.00 am to 5.30 pm

• Reading hall room no.2 : Monday to Friday: 10.00 am to 1.00 pm

(Only during regular college days)

•  Computer and Internet section: 10.00 am to 5.00 pm

•  Circulation Counter: 10.00 am to 1 pm and 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm

•  Library will remain closed on all Sundays and declared public holidays.

B: Rules:-

1.       Students MUST wear their Identity cards when entering the library.

2.       At a time one copy of text book will be issued to the student for seven days against his/ her one library card. It can be extended for two times if not in demand.

3.       If the book is not returned by the due date then Rs.1/- per day will be charged.

4.       Library card is not transferrable i.e. one should not give one’s Library card for use to other students.

5.       Library deposit if any will be refunded from the cash section after filling the ‘No Dues’ form and getting clearance from the library.

6.       Strict silence should be maintained in the library. Discussions, use of ear-phones, cell-phones, relaxing and eating is strictly to be avoided.

7.       Check your belongings when you are using and leaving the library. Staff will not be responsible for any loss of your belongings.

8.        Contact the Librarian and Library staff for the search of book/ information.
