4th International Workshop on Stochastic Processes and Their Applications

The organising committee has the pleasure of inviting you to participate in the fourth edition of the International Workshop on Stochastic Processes and Their Applications (IWSPA 2024), which will take place in Zaragoza on September 23-25, 2024.

The workshop is organized by the Working Group on “Stochastic Processes and Their Applications” of the Spanish Society for Statistics and Operations Research (SEIO) and it is part of the activities organised within the Red Temática Procesos Estocásticos y sus Aplicaciones (RED2022-134435-T) funded by the Spanish Research Agency (MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033).

We welcome contributions from all areas of stochastic processes, including, but not limited to birth and death processes, branching processes, diffusion processes, Markovian arrival processes, matrix-analytic methods, random walks in continuous time, renewal theory, space-time processes, and others, as well as their applications in population dynamics, genetics, epidemiology, cancer, cell kinetics, economics, finance, reliability, geophysics, environment, etc.
