GIOVANNI CERULLI (CHAIR)
Senior researcher (dirigente di ricerca) at CNR-IRCrES. He owns a degree in Statistics and Economics and a PhD in Economics from Sapienza University of Rome. His main areas of research are causal inference, program evaluation, and machine learning where he has developed new econometric models and several Stata routines. His major field of application is the economics of innovation although he has contributions also in other socio-economic areas.
He is editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Computational Economics and Econometrics, and coordinator of GRAPE (Research Group on the Analysis of Economic Policies). Read more
LUCIO MORETTINI (CHAIR)
Researcher at the Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth – National Research Council of Italy (IRCrES – CNR), Rome Unit. He taken his Phd in Economics at “Sapienza” University of Rome with a research thesis on Economics od Education. His research focuses on higher education policy, research evaluation and impact assessment, effects of university design on job market, high skilled workers’ career dynamics and analysis of new emerging actors on higher education scenario.
He published and served as referee in several international journals and has participated in several European and Italian national projects. Read more
BARBARA GUARDABASCIO
Researcher in Economic Statistics and a member of the Business and Collective Intelligence Lab at the University of Perugia.
She is an expert of the Eurostat group Statistical methods and tools for time series analysis, seasonal adjustment, and statistical disclosure control (STACE) since July 16, 2020.
Since 2007, Barbara Guardabascio has been involved in various research projects focusing on economic modeling in both micro and macro contexts.
Her research interests encompass economic forecasting, business cycle analysis, and big data, areas in which she has authored several articles in international journals. Her work has also been featured in magazine and newspapers such as Il Messaggero and Il Sole 24 Ore.
ANTONIO ZINILLI
Researcher at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth, Unit of Rome. He has graduated and taken his Phd in Applied Social Sciences at “Sapienza” University of Rome. He is coordinator of IRCrES School (Rome unit) in “Data Science: tools and methods for analysing complex Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) systems”.
His research, based on an interdisciplinary approach, focuses on R&D funding, dynamic networks, dynamic processes on complex networks.
He has a particular interest in the analysis and the modeling of knowledge spreading processes as well as the dynamics about R&D funding. Read more
