As I approached 65 in 2021, I decided to share some lessons learned from a forced early retirement that began at the end of 2015, one month before my 59th birthday.

There are steps people could take earlier in their career to make their retirement plans more resilient.  And there are steps you can take if forced to take an early retirement to ensure a sound retirement.
