I've fallen in love with the flex box model as it is so easy and flexible to use. However, I've stumpled a very weird issue concerning the "order property:Let's say that I'm having 4 divs(a,b,c,d) the order of which I want to rearrange in using the order-property.Now I wanted the 2nd and the 3rd div to simply swap their position. I was expecting to accomplish that by typing:

So that a, b, c, d turns into a,c,b,d. Surprisingy, I get the result: a, d, c, b !?!?It turned out, that any order value >=1 pushes the selected element to the very end, order=0 leaves the element in the current position and order

SF 101 is my very favorite pellon product. I would never have ventured out to try it, had I not been making one of your bags. I love it for all my sewing! I would love to try pellon flex foam.. Thank you for reviewing.

I like pellon 911 for tshirt quilts. I have used thermolam in several bags. I will be anxious to try this flexible foam. I purchased a pattern for an I-pad stand and it called for a brand of flexible foam that, evidently, is no longer manufactured, so I have been searching for a replacement foam. I would love to try this! Thanks for sharing your honest and professional opinion! You have helped me tremendously with many of your other posts!

I have been using soft and stable for a long time. I agree the bags look professional . I am trying out Bosal in-r-form plus and find it to be easier to use because it is thinner. How would u compare the thickness of soft and stable to the new pellon product? Have u used Bosal products?

I am working on projects for the upcoming holiday season and this will be the perfect time to try their flex foam. I have used various Pellon products over the years and this looks to be a good addition to their line.

Loved your article on the Pellon Foam Fusible Interfacing. I have used just regular Pellon in my garment sewing however, I have been branching out into organizers, bags and electronic device sleeves. I see using this in my future in the electronic device sleeves for sure.

I have tried several Pellon interfacings and it depends on the project which I use. I probably use more of the double sided than anything else and love it. Yet, I would be open to try any kind of stabilizer. I do hand embroidery, quilting, applique, totes and purses and some clothing. I stopped at JoAnns yesterday and no one knew what I was asking about the fusible foam. Well, now I understand but will keep checking because I am excited to give it a try. Thanks for sharing the information and your great project! Have a wonderful creative day! [email protected]

That might sound a bit diplomatic, but I am VERY curious to try the flex foam. Over here in Germany it is a bit of a pain to get a good stabilizer for a reasonable prize and so it would be really great to get hands on on some yeards for not a hell of money.

Thanks for testing and reviewing this product. I usually shy away from fusibles, preferring spray baste, if I need to secure before seeing. I have used Soft and Stable, but might give the Pellon products a try.

I used Pellon Fusible foam for the first time in a clutch last week and I really like it. I have also used Pellon Sheerweight fusible a LOT in quilts made from very fragile recycled Indian saris. It performs beautifully in those quilts. Thanks for a great giveaway! If I win, these products will be put to use in our sewing class for refugee women!

Thanks for honest review. I have to admit that I was and still am intimidated by interfacing of any kind, have used it and remember the moment you realize you did something wrong. Horror! This seems like a good choice for a bag. Thanks

Thanks for all the information about the new Fusible Flex Foam! It is most helpful! I think the product I use most is SF101 but have several other Pellon products as well for different projects. Great stuff!

I have always used the Pellon fusible fleece 987. I have some projects ready to go with the soft and stable but now am curious about this new product. Thanks for testing it out for us and giving your opinion. Love your bags!

I have used other Pellon interfacings, but never the fusible foam. I like the looks of the ones you show here.

I have been looking for something for the purses that I make. This sounds like it is the one.

I love Shape Flex, but I have been wanting to try a foam core stabilizer for a while now! So glad that Pellon is finally making some! I have an organizer on my to-make list that it would be perfect for!

I just started sewing about two years ago (mostly bags and quilts so far) and I am So. Completely. Addicted. There is nothing quite as soothing to me as sitting behind my sewing machine making beautiful things for my family, friends and co workers.

Until last night, reading through your Crimson and Clover Train Case post/pattern, I had never heard of the Soft and Supple before and now this: Pellon Foam, too! I have your C&C train case pattern in my cart as we speak and will be downloading it as soon as I post this and it would be amazing to win this pellon Foam to try with your pattern.

I hope I win so I can make your train case, try this new product, and then post you back pictures of the finished project. I imagine when you see all the pictures people send you of their finished projects you must feel like a proud mama. ?

I recently used Shapeflex for the first time. It was a revelation! So so much better than the rubbishy interfacing which I had tried in the past. Pellon products are not easily available in New Zealand, but I will definitely be sourcing some more when this batch is finished.

Sara, thank you for the review of the new Pellon Flex Foam fusible stabilizers. My daughter is a special ed teacher and gymnastics coach and I recently ordered fabric to sew a messenger bag for her to use to carry her supplies between school and the gym. I was planning to use a meandering stippling stitch to sew a foam stabilizer to the main fabric, but after reading the posts in the blog tour about the 1- and 2-sided fusible Flex Foam stabilizers, I am looking forward to using them for the support in this bag.

Great review! I just tried the Soft and Stable on your Petrillo bag for the first time and am a fan. Is new one by Pellon would be next on my list to use. Thank you to you and Pellon for the give away.

Longitudinal flex can be progressive or continuous. The former means that the flex is in the centre of the board, so the nose and tail have different amounts of flex. Continuous flex refers to the flex throughout the board.

Generally, stiffer snowboards offer increased edge grip and faster response at high speeds, which makes them the preferred type for riders looking to change grooves or big powder lines. Stiff boards can also absorb the heaviest of landings without buckling, whereas softer boards make it easy to manoeuvre and perform tricks at slower speeds. They are also much more forgiving of mistakes since rider input is not transferred quite so rapidly.

Flexible snowboards are easy to turn and are generally more forgiving. This makes them perfect for beginner and freestyle snowboarders. Soft boards are also perfect for lighter-weight riders and those who prefer to board in terrain parks. Flexible boards are much more sensitive to user input, so they work well for softer or bumpier snow surfaces.

Whereas, for free-riders who love to move at speed and generally ride a little more aggressively and create deep carves, a stiffer flex will serve you much better. It will give you greater stability and edge-hold, even at high speeds! With this in mind, a free-ride snowboard would typically be anything from a 7 to 10 Medium-to-Stiff Flex board.

If you class yourself as an All-Mountain rider, and you love to do a little bit of everything, you should consider something in between freestyle and free-riders. We would recommend a flex rating of somewhere between 4 and 7 Medium-to-Soft to Medium-to-Stiff flex boards.

Adaptive and individualized, Reflex is the most effective system for mastering basic facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division for grades 2+. Full of games that students love, Reflex takes students at every level and helps them quickly gain math fact fluency and confidence. And educators and parents love the powerful reporting that allows them to monitor progress and celebrate success.

At the beginning of the year one of my second graders was solving six addition problems in two minutes. That student is now solving 30 addition problems in two minutes. He is also able to solve 30 subtraction problems in two minutes. His fluency started to shoot up after starting Reflex.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Reflex is by far the best program out there. All but one of my students scored within the targeted norm range on our district calculations assessment. This was an increase from 50% on the fall assessment.

I feel fortunate and honored that many of the panelists are my current colleagues: Dean Futrell, Dean Simpson, Dean Mason, Professor Hill, Professor Cowins, Professor Colbert, Professor Abah and Assistant Director Cooper. This team at W&L makes our work satisfying.

And to SABU, the organizers of this event: Words cannot convey how proud I am of you. This was your idea. You planted it, watered it, cultivated it and now we are all enjoying the magnificence of the blossom that is the programming today. You are indeed FLEXing! 152ee80cbc
