たたむと平たい板になる

たたむと平たい板になる木製椅子のデザイン。折りたたみ椅子といえば安価で軽量なイメージだが、この椅子では座り心地と素材感、そしてシンプルなシルエットにこだわった。座面の後ろには小さなテーブルがあり、ちょっとした小物を置くことができる。一枚の板から無駄なく材料を切り出し、椅子をつくるという試みでもある。 

Tabula Folding Chair

This wooden folding chair transforms into a sleek, flat board when not in use. Unlike most folding chairs that prioritize affordability and lightweight designs, this chair emphasizes three key elements: exceptional seating comfort, the rich texture of wood and fabric, and a minimalist silhouette. There is a small table behind the seat where you can place small items. The design also aims to minimize waste by efficiently cutting materials from a single board.
