建速須佐之男命（タケハヤスサノオノミコト）を主祭神としてお祀りしています。
東京都北区に古くからある神社です。創建年代は不明ですが、江戸時代には日光御成道の岩淵宿鎮守として崇敬されていました。荒川流域のため、境内には水神社をお祀りしています。
Enshrined Susanoo-no-Mikoto, the younger brother of Amaterasu Ōmikami.

神仏の力、慈悲によって授かる様々な恩恵や幸運、恵みのことです。人々の善行や祈念が原因となって生じます。霊験（れいげん）とも言います。

magical power of divine virtue
お祀りされている神様の功徳、威徳、恩徳のことです。神様が持つ並外れた力で、霊妙なものでもあります。この御神徳によって授けられた幸いが御利益だと言えます。

八雲神社の拝殿は今年 落成百年を迎えます
拝殿落成記念（1927(昭和2)年7月7日）
当社の拝殿は、1923(大正12)年の関東大震災で倒壊してしまいました。地域の一大プロジェクトとして、氏子（岩淵の人々）たちは拝殿を再建しようと寄進を募り、４年の歳月を得て再建し、現在の拝殿が完成しました。
本年これを記念して手拭いを作成しました。（制作：水野染工場）

Haiden Hall is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its reconstruction this year. The hall collapsed during the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923. The ujiko Iwabuchi community and people launched a major reconstruction project that took four years to complete. People donated a large amount of money for the movement.

徳川時代に幕府の天領であった岩渕宿。日光御成街道の宿場町として栄えました。その歴史的な土地に立つ当社は、八代将軍吉宗を迎えたと伝わり、また、幕末期に活躍した勝海舟の直筆の大幟（おおのぼり）が納められています。
幕末から明治にかけて、欧州列強による日本の植民地化を防ぐべく、江戸城無血開城を実現した歴史の１ページになっています。
Iwabuchi, where the Yakumo Jinja is located, was one of the most important station villages on the way to Nikkō in the Edo period. It was under the direct control of the Tokugawa Shogunate, known as tenryō. It witnessed several historic moments, such as the visit of Tokugawa Yoshimune (1864-1751), the eighth shōgun, and the fall of the Tokugawa Regime.
Today, it holds a Nobori written by Katsu Kaishū (1823-1899), a Japanese statesman and military and naval commander during the late Tokugawa shogunate and early Meiji period.

*Ōharae is a traditional Shinto ritual, known as a great purification ceremony.
*Shichi-Go-San celebrates the growth and well-being of young children. It is a traditional Japanese rite of passage and festival day for three and seven-year-old girls, and five-year-old and sometimes three-year-old boys.
