Private Piano Lessons

Overview:

Private piano lessons are a great opportunity to study one-on-one and receive individualized instruction that is tailored to a student's unique skill set and needs. I currently offer private piano lessons, which are scheduled weekly for 30 minutes each. My rate for private piano lessons is $30, which is paid at the first lesson of each month. I prefer to use either the Alfred or Faber piano method for private piano lessons.

Practice:

Private piano students are encouraged and expected to practice their assigned material for 30 minutes daily at home.

Lesson Structure:

Private lessons follow a traditional format where the student plays their assigned material from the previous week and we discuss areas of strength and areas of improvement. New concepts and material are then discussed and assigned for the next week of practice.

Cost:

Private piano lessons are $35 per student for each weekly lesson. If there are four lessons in a month for instance, that monthly tuition would be $140.
