Group Piano Lessons

Overview:

Group piano lessons are currently split between two to three students max. The cost for group lessons is lower than private lessons because the half hour time slot is shared among more students. Group are a great option for students who prefer less direct instruction time and parents who prefer less cost.

Practice:

Group piano students are encouraged and expected to practice 30 minutes daily at home. They may choose to play with an accompaniment CD to improve their listening skills, or to practice independently. We will take what they've learned while practicing over the course of the week and use our new skills to play together as a group during lesson time.

Lesson Structure:

Group lessons will have 2-3 students with similar ability levels. We will have time to review material, discuss and try new material, and play an occasional theory game or two.

Cost:

Small group lessons are $20 per student for each weekly lesson. If there are four lessons in a month for instance, that monthly tuition would be $80.
