Presentation Preparation

Presentation format

  • All papers are presented in the same format regardless of submission type (full paper, extended abstract, and LBR). Each paper has to be presented in a live presentation (on Zoom) and in a poster session (on Virtual Chair).
  • Each paper has a 20-minute slot in the live presentation sessions, and this presentation is mandatory. The presenter can choose to present directly via Zoom or to play a prerecorded video in the session, but in either way they need to be available for QA during the session. The presentation (or video) is 15 minutes max. Please note that the presenter is responsible for playing the prerecorded video in the case if they choose to present in that way. Also, the video quality is known to be worse, so we recommend the authors to do a live presentation.
  • The live sessions will be organized from 17:00 to 24:00 (JST or GMT+9) on September 15th to 17th. We will inform you the session assignment by this Friday.
  • We are not going to record the live sessions.
  • In addition to the live presentation session, the authors must prepare the materials for the poster sessions (a poster and a video). These materials are accessible to and only to all participants at the virtual poster venue during the whole conference period and will be no longer accessible after the conference.
  • Poster presentation sessions will be organized in the time slots: 07:00-09:00 (JST or GMT+9) on September 16 and 17. Each paper will be assigned to one of the four one-hour slots during the periods. The authors are strongly recommended (but not mandatory) to stand by their virtual poster board do QAs during the assigned time slot.
  • We are sorry that the change of assignment of live presentation is difficult after its announcement, but the assignment of poster session slot can be quite flexible.

What you should prepare for the poster session

  • A video file of your presentation (that you may also use for the live session)
    • The length should be less than 15 minutes

    • You are recommended to have subtitles on your video to make it more accessible
  • One page slide in a PDF file. It will be pasted on the virtual poster board at the virtual venue (virtual chair) during the whole conference period.
  • The video and the poster must be submitted by 23:59 of September 7th. (JST)
