ICON Clinical Research (www.iconplc.com), founded in 1990 and headquartered in Dublin, Ireland – ICON is a global Clinical Research Organization (CRO) whose mission is to help clients accelerate the development of drugs and devices that save lives and improve quality of life. I have worked in the CRO industry for 15 years, and have experience spanning across Bioanalytical Laboratory Testing, Project Management, and Client Contract Services. The majority of my experience is within the Early Phase (Phase 1) services where the main focus is determining drug safety, and involves small numbers of participants. I currently work in the Laboratory Services area managing a team of 6 analysts located in both Ireland and the US who are dedicated to working with clients to ensure contracts are in place and accurately reflect the services to be rendered.
