The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys is a photoseries based on lyrics from My Chemical Romance's fourth albun, Danger Days; Crash Queen and Motor Babies, Run Bunny Run, Let's Blow A Hole in This Town- all chosen with the consideration of one's fighting for rights to freedom, expression and love. All of these shoots were done guerilla style where we sometimes had to duck or run in between photos. And yes, that's a real Detroit officer coming to set in Greektown to shut us down but when finding out what we were doing, he asked if he could join in and then he legitimately handcuffed Rachel and dragged her off. Er- for the camera!
