I looked after the systems at Vrede Textiles, either locally full time or remotely from wherever I was in the world. During my honours degree I wrote a Wages program in Turbo Pascal, which I upgraded to Delphi and Interbase in 1999.
From August 1995 to November 1997, I worked on site full time writing an entire ERP system, including planning, bar-coded stock control, work-in-progress management, and more.
After 1997, I contracted part-time for Vrede Textiles until the factory was first sold to its staff, and then unfortunately a few years later it was liquidated.
