Welcome to the third edition of Introduction to Modern Advances in Algebra (ITMAIA). This conference aims to bring together postgraduate students in Algebra to showcase all the modern advances the field has to offer. This follows on from the success of the previous two editions over the last two years in Exeter and Manchester.
We are pleased to have three invited speakers, delivering mini-courses on Geometric Group Theory, Diagrammatic algebras in Representation Theory and Quantum Algebra.
This conference offers a 'hands-on' approach with two talks given by each invited speaker, as well as a problem session in each of the three topics
We are also particularly pleased to offer postgraduate students a chance to present their own research with a call for contributed talks and posters. Please see the registration page for more details. We would encourage all graduate attendees to present some of their work in some form during the conference.
