How to get to Trento

[ Trento ]

[ By plane ]

Trento is 90 km from the Valerio Catullo airport (Verona), and about 200 km from Venice (Marco Polo) and Bergamo (Orio al Serio) airports. For those arriving in Verona, there is a daily shuttle bus service to the Verona railway station, which departs every 20 minutes from 6.30 a.m. to 11.35 p.m. For those arriving in Venice (Marco Polo Airport) there are buses to the Venezia-Santa Lucia and Mestre-Venezia railway stations. For those arriving at Bergamo (Orio al Serio airport) there is a shuttle bus service to the Bergamo railway station, which leaves every 15 minutes from 6.05 a.m. to 12.15 a.m.

[ By train ]

Trento is connected with both high-speed (expensive) and local (cheap) trains.

[ By car ]

Trento can be easily reached from Bologna and Modena (Modena-Brennero motorway) and is well connected with Austria and Germany. DICAM department has got free parking space.


How to get to DICAM

[ On foot ]

DICAM can be reached on foot from the railway station (40 minutes), by going to Piazza Venezia and then up to Salita Filippo Manci.


[ By bus ]

The department can be easily reached by taking bus number 5 or 5/ (Piazza Dante --> Oltrecastello direction) from the railway station, Piazza Venezia or Piazza Fiera, and getting off at the "Mesiano Fac. Ingegneria" bus stop. You can check the timetables on the website of Trentino Trasporti. We suggest you to get your tickets using the OpenMove app, as you pay less in this way.

Where to sleep in Trento

Cheap hostel downtown, offering shared rooms. It is 36 min. on foot and 18 min. by bus from DICAM.

3-stars hotel downtown (it has a convention with Unitn). It is 40 min. on foot and 20 min. by bus from DICAM.
