Physics has been one of my favorite subjects in high school. I've further pursued physics, working as a teacher's assistant for AP Physics. On this page you will find some physics labs that I find particularly interesting, and some of the practice quizzes I made for my physics class.
Physics Labs:
The goal of this lab was to find the center of mass of a cheese dish. I worked with a partner, Makoa Wilson. I mainly worked on the theoretical derivation and calculations.
For this lab, I worked in a team of three, with Mark Chen and Kamalau Kimata. We experimentally and theoretically calculated the rotational inertia of a Yo-Yo. Kamalau and I worked on the theoretical part, while Mark worked on the experimental portion.
Physics Teacher's Assistant (TA):
My school teaches physics in a very nontraditional way. In essence students get a packet and are told to work on the packet in groups. The teacher roams around the classroom answering questions and explaining topics. Little to no lectures are given. My role as a TA is to be a mini teacher. It requires me to thoroughly know each topic. For more information on tutorial based learning, click here.Â
