We're so glad you're here! This course invites you to learn and play with some computers. We will be ripping apart computers, see what makes them tick and putting them back together again. Even better news, we are back on campus. I am looking forward to some good lectures, great hands on labs, and even breaking some stuff. Though the process of learning may be challenging at times, we hope you will see the value of stretching yourself and engaging in hands-on practice. Our hope is that this course will be useful for you and prepare you to pass the related CompTIA A+ certification exam and apply this new knowledge to your professional life.

Focuses on the fundamentals of computer hardware and software as well as advanced concepts such as security, networking, and the responsibilities of an ICT professional. Preparation for CompTIA's A+ certification exam. Also includes exploration and practice of 21st century career skills: Self Awareness, Communication, Social/Diversity Awareness
