Inclusive Sustainable Strategies for food products:
local and organic districts as laboratories for testing multi-stakeholder participatory food systems
Inclusive Sustainable Strategies for food products:
local and organic districts as laboratories for testing multi-stakeholder participatory food systems
The iSUSTlab project aims to address the challenge of inclusiveness in sustainable food production and consumption systems, adopting a comprehensive theoretical and practical framework.
The project starts from the assumption that sustainability in the agri-food sector must be analysed in an innovative way as inclusiveness becomes the key element for local development based on a participatory approach. This requires the development of new organizational, strategic and market paths that have as a pivotal element a shared approach capable of aggregating firms and institutions of a territory towards concrete pathways to sustainability and to ensure that consumer-citizens are an integral part of these.
