Hannah Thomas: Project #2

This project explores identity as something constructed through three visual systems based on my sun, moon, and rising signs. The Aries sun represents my core self through bold and high energy visuals like bright pinks, sparkle, and flame imagery, showing confidence but also softness. The Capricorn moon reflects my emotional self through darker tones and atmospheric imagery, suggesting control and more internalized feelings. The Scorpio rising represents how I present myself outwardly through hyper feminine and stylized visuals that feel very curated and intentional, almost like a persona. Together, these boards show how identity shifts depending on context and connect to artists like Cindy Sherman and Lynn Hershman Leeson, who use constructed personas and visual language to question authenticity and the idea of a singular identity.
